Open Trending →

Most perpetual contract trading platforms are complicated. You open them and see dozens of buttons, panels, order books, and charts that look like a spaceship cockpit.

Trending is different. It lets you trade perpetual contracts directly on the chart. Click to open a position. Draw a line for take profit or stop loss. One click to close. That's it.

In this tutorial, I'll walk you through how to trade on Trending, step by step.

What is Trending?

Trending is a simplified perpetual contract trading platform. It uses HyperLiquid's liquidity (so your orders are real, on-chain, and secure), but with a much simpler interface.

Key differences from other platforms:

Step 1: Open the platform

Go to trending.trading

You'll see a real-time price chart immediately. No login required to look around.

Step 2: Try a simulated trade (no login needed)

Before you commit any money, you can try trading:

  1. Pick an asset: Click the asset name in the top-left corner (BTC, ETH, and more)
  2. Open a position: Click on the right side of the chart to go long, or the left side to go short
  3. Set TP/SL: Click on the chart to draw take profit and stop loss lines
  4. Close: Hit the one-click close button to exit

This simulated experience lets you feel how simple trading can be.

Step 3: Log in

When you're ready to trade for real:

  1. Click the login button
  2. Choose your login method:

After logging in, you need to:
